Grim Dawn Build Calculator by Dammitt
This is an impressive build calculator by Dammitt that I figured should be linked to spread the word.

It is a very nice, slick item database and full-blown build calculator. You can import your current characters into it if you wish or build one (with items) and get a link to show others. Read the forum post of his for full details on how to use the site properly (ie. keyboard shortcuts etc).

It also has in-built support for localizations so anyone who would like to provide translations for their mother tongue can. See the forum post linked above for details.

Again, awesome job Dammitt. I love GrimCalc but I think he just made a GC Killer =O

I will second that this tool is great and easy to use. awesome for anyone wanting to theorycraft, or just plan builds in general.

Thanks for the tip, first time I've seen a site where you can make a build with not just stats and skills, but also with gear - I've needed that, so I'll try it out.

Powbam you have been making my time on this game so much easier since I started lol, thank you and thank you dammitt. This tool is amazing. I usually get a blank char to test but this is so much easier.

oh yeah I just tried it out, and I agree, it's amazing

EDIT: Is there a way to copy and paste an item? In the case where you want two of the same ring and component.

Thanks :) I try to provide some overlap between here and the official site as necessary since I know not everyone goes there or keeps up on what's happening as much as I do.

This seemed too useful not to help spread the word so he can get some feedback and make it better.

I'm just learning how it works :) I have a build all set up but the bottom bar doesn't seem to do anything. Can you add skills to check dps and activate auras somehow ?

I'm not seeing anything like that but the itemdb does have a search function. At the very least you could copy and paste in the desired duplicates name to get to it faster. Perhaps leave him a suggestion. He may be able to put such a feature into it.

It doesn't seem like it that I could find but that would be pretty sweet if you could. Imagine how cool it would be if he could setup a little sandboxie area in the browser, just you and a training dummy. I doubt that would even be possible (and likely illegal anyway) but man would it be nice.

It looks like this is something that is going to be worked on and wasn't implemented just yet so that he could get the build calculator out the door earlier.

To be honest I've decided to exclude this feature (as well as some devotion view QoL) from initial release since they'll just postpone it for couple more weeks. As you can see, there's a hotbar at the bottom of character screen, it's there for a reason: once this feature is implemented, you'll be able to select a skill from the pool of your item/mastery skills and if it's a toggleable buff/aura or a temporary one, you'll be able to toggle it on/off and see how the stats are affected, just like in game.
This feature is on my short todo list.

Thanks for linking this:) I am thankful for GrimCalc as well, but Dammit's builder is just superior in every way. Heck, even his item DB is superior to anything else as well. Absolutely fantastic work:)

This is fantastic. I've been using GrimCalc for a while, but the inability to plan constellations without having to backtrack made it a bit frustrating. Thanks for this!

I will probably still accidently load up the old calc/database out of habit, but am so glad something like this exists now.

I like the way Devotions are handled here as well. That and being able to import your characters directly into it and see everything including items is a huge QoL feature that should make it even easier for people to give noobs build advice.

Whoa, this is insane. Thanks for sharing.
