- Length: About 4-5 hours. This includes being stuck a lot as well.
- Story: There isn't really any story, but some elements in the game could be counted as a stand-in for a story.
- Replay value: None, really. This is the only weak part of the game, in my opinion.
The game has a certain feel to it, and will challenge you with loads of phsycological puzzles, so if you are into that kind of games, I would go for it.
if this annoys the developer, then my message to them would be, were this game to have expansions, like multiplayer challenges, something that made it replayable for me, then i would then be more interested in buying it.
So, to summarize, yes this game is worth buying and playing, provided your expectations are not based on what this game is NOT.
Just as a side note: I actually completed the game in one day, only having trouble on a single part of a minor "puzzle", which I couldn't solve due to some reasons... (Spoilers incoming)
I was stuck in the part of "The Chase" where you get stuck inside a box. The music and atmosphere of that place felt really... Eerie, which made me look up the solution online (Which, of course, happened to be something that you had done countless times before in the game). After completing it, I had several other things from the game haunting my mind as I was falling asleep that weren't related to puzzle solving.
As for replayability, there's certainly some.
You can (and almost certainly will) complete the game without solving all the puzzles (and thus unlocking all the pictures), so you'll want to play it a 2nd time for that.
Then there's the developer secrets; the purple blocks hidden throughout the game, the easter egg areas, and the single incomplete* dead-end puzzle.
*At least it was incomplete when I played through the game; subsequent patches might have finished it off.
