Is this an update to the existing bare bones crumb or a new product?

FWIW, the dev himself has indicated that he's working on an update to this, but also that such an update may take a year or more (solo dev). IMHO, if he's able to include *half* of the community's requests, he'd be fully justified in calling it a new product.
I know he reads here, so I'll take the selfish opportunity to say I'd love even a buggy component editor to play around with soonest but hey home and family life come first.

Correct.. I do read everything 😂 just don’t have the time to reply all the time!

I don’t have a full answer to the question, I don’t know how long it’s going to take me and also I need to build it as a standalone product away from steam as well because of school interest!!

100% I will need community help to test parts this time around
