Game crashes (fix or refund)

Every time i go back into a chapter to pick up a letter from the puzzle or a mask, the game crashes as soon as i get back to the car.
i've reinstalled the game many times and that doesnt work, i've checked the stability of my files as well. is there any way to fix these issues or get a refund for this broken game?
