also, they need to add a simple mele attack or push move. you can dodge when an animal is in your face but i feel like i need a mele attack to push them away or something. and they should add a crouch button. i'm no hunter, but i assume hunters may like to crouch when sniping animals.
other that these things, enjoying the game so far.
And no melee and crouching is just weird. How can they not have thought of that. Patch soon I hope.
replay value lies in maneater mode which is arena battle but the animals are programmed to just go straight to attack you like in story mode rather than a more open environment where you can actually hunt/find animal and kill them before they attack you. would have been better if animals roam around and they only start chasing/attacking you if you are nearby or make noise.
there is also a shooting gallery but without a light gun and using a mouse is nothing special once you go thru everything. probably only good to improve your mouse tracking abilities to make you a better sniper when you play other fps games.
Probably best to wait until it's on sale, which may not be long with the holidays just around the corner. Still, it looks nice and it at least has a bit more excitement than a lot of Cabela's recent releases, even Survival: Shadows of Katmai, which was a bit of a stinker.
