Medic Texturing Contest!

Hey guys, we've got a wonderful coloring contest for you today! After the last update we redesigned many of those pesky swats, we noticed that the Russian medic needed some love to! This is where we want you guys to show is what ideas you all have in mind! For the first time ever we're going to be letting the community decide on this design! It's going to be designed by the community and then we will pick our favorites and let you guys vote on the final winner!

We're really looking forward to the amazing ideas you guys have to share! Read the linked announcement carefully! Make sure when you submit your entries you follow all the rules! We don't want to see any of these cool designs disqualified because they failed to follow the rules!

What is required?

• The Russian word медик (Medic) needs to be present on the design on both the chest and the back.
  
• The medic symbol needs to be visible and prominent on the helmet, right shoulder and the medic bag.
  
• The color red needs to be used extensively to distinguish the medic from other units.
  
• Your design should fit alongside the existing designs of the Russian mercenaries.
  
• For the contest all texture maps need to use the same resolutions as provided.
  Sizes are as follows:
  
  • Body: 2048x2048
    
  • Head: 1024x1024

Winners

The winners will be selected by the OVERKILL crew.
Once the winners are selected we will create a poll for the community to pick their favorite.
We do reserve the right to tweak or edit the textures, in the situation that internal issues appear with the winning design.
The winning submission will be lowered in resolution when implemented into the game. This is simply due to optimization in the game.

Prizes?!

Along with getting your own design into the game! The winners will get 4 copies of Payday 2 Ultimate edition to share along with the no longer purchasable Alienware Alpha mask! The final winner will get their design placed in the game!

FAQ

How long do I have to send my entry in?
The contest will last 2 weeks. You will need to have your entry in by the 27th of July. Any submissions after this date will not be accepted.

What software do I make this in? I can't afford to buy something for the contest!
Don't worry! There are a few programs for advanced digital editing that you can use for free! One I would personally suggest would be GIMP. It has all the tools you need to add a high quality submission and is free!

The .TIF files seem to have only 1 layer (loaded in GIMP)
The .PSD files do have (12-14) layers when loaded

All .TIF files (I have no plugins except one .DDS plugin and the pre-installed plugins)

Try opening the psd files with GIMP.

https://www.imagemagick.org/discourse-server/viewtopic.php?t=26785 , seems to be a GIMP issue (but it can use PSD files so shouldn't be an issue)

Yes, it seems like GIMP can't load the layers from the TIFF while they load as they should with Photoshop. GIMP does load the PSDs just fine. So you can use those.

I'd rather make more mods I or others will actually use, which is going quite good
