game crash due to mod i dont have anymore
my game as been randomly crashing due to a mod that i dont have anymore i tried to reinstall the mod to see if that would stop the crashing but it doesn't. I dont know how to fix it and its getting annoying.

also the mod is noble hud and crashlogs are telling me this "Application has crashed: C++ exception

mods/NobleHUD/buff/playermanager.lua:8: attempt to index global 'NobleHUD' (a nil value)"

im trying that now and it seems to be working
Payday 2 uses a x32 executable, meaning that maximum amount of RAM that it can use is somewhere around 4GBs or little bit less (as I remember hearing from one yappington the third)
And, when you look at new heists that for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason use 2k (and, as I heard from another yappington the third, murky humvee from white house uses a model from unreal Engine 4 game, while using 8k texture too) textures that sometimes refuse to ignore the texture quality setting, obviously no wonder why game runs out of RAM, causing it to crash

Does removing all mods, including WSOCK32.dll from the game folder, change the crashlog in any way?

It still says mods/NobleHUD in the crash log even after removing all mods and WSOCK32.dll? That would suggest there's still mods present.

You could try a clean reinstall.

To do this:

1) Open the Payday 2 game folder (Browse Local Files)
2) Whilst this folder is open, uninstall the game through Steam
3) If anything remains in the folder after uninstalling, move/remove what is left
4) Once the folder is empty, reinstall the game

its still crashing but i just found out the crashlogs are from 2023 so it not noble hud

There's no recent crashlogs? When you say the game is crashing, is it closing to desktop or is it freezing and forcing you to close the game manually?

the game is crashing more then it already is now its crashing while i do heist and not just on restart plus the logs have changed

as of right now the game has been crashing more even when im playing and not just on resets and the logs have change to. this is the new log Application has crashed: C++ exception
