[Crash] Probably related to the LED combo gadjet.
Hello there.

My game crashed at the end of the Hotline miami day 2.

Probably, because someone switched their weapon and used it's LED combo module.

[string "lib/units/weapons/weaponliongadget1.lua"]:200: attempt to index a nil value

According to Seven, it is actually the LMG bipod weapon mod, and not the LED combo weapon mod (which I also thought was what that was).

Testing it out next (was actually just talking to Ceph asking if I could test this), to see what the issue is.

Do you remember the build you had? And if anyone in the lobby actually used a LMG? And were you the host or a Client?

liongadget is the bipod, yes.

They changed a bunch of stuff with it in 105.2:

So it's fairly likely the crash is from someone's mod not being nice with the changes, and not a vanilla issue (but of course do try in case I'm wrong :))

Melons and I already tested it, without success though.
It's extremely likely to be a modconflict.
The section of the code the error refers to is run before deploying a bipod. My guess is that it failed to calculate the vectors/rays for some reason.

I tried replicating using bipod + gadgets (both LMG and secondary) in different states, switching, etc, but had no success either.

I know how to reproduce this crash.

Equip rpk with bipods, choose something for secondary, enter your safehouse, equip mask and press "preview weapon" button (b) without changing to primary.

I asked some people to do these steps - everyone crashed with the same error "[string "lib/units/weapons/weaponliongadget1.lua"]:200:"

It happens with all LMG, if they have the Bipod equiped, as soon as one inspects the secondary weapon. It doesn´t matter if one inspects the LMG before, shoots or does nothing. Only the secondary Inspect is important. (And of course the LMG+Bipod.)

Edit:
However, if one deploys the Bipod, he won´t crash anymore when inspecting the secondary.

Edit 2:

There is a mod which apparently fixes the Crash.

And one also crashes in the following Scenario:
If the Primary is not a LMG + Bipod you won´t crash when inspecting the gun. However, if you´re in the Safe House, and enter the Basement, and one of the guns which are shown there is a LMG + Bipod, you will Crash when inspecting the Secondary.

If you swap weapons and then try inspect it again - you won't get a crash ¯\_(シ)_/¯

It also does not crash if you swap to the LMG, and then swap back to the secondary. Only if you immediately inspect your secondary after masking up. (Korm informed me via PM, and I confirm it).
