Hello,

I have just been referred to post my issue here. It seems that, since that 12 days of patches event, the very last day, has been causing me nothing but problems with PayDay. I did have mods before those patches and everything was working just fine.

After the last patch of that day, the game wouldn't start. I joined the PayDay community chat and they recommended that I do a fresh reinstall of the game. I did that, and that fixed the game; however, after doing so, the game was running like a 30fps limited console garbage. I had to go into the file folder and manually change the resolution to fix it. So, that might be something worth looking at.

Well now, the game isn't launching. This is a fresh install still. I haven't installed any mods yet. I've verified the files and Steam says "All files verified". I went to the community chat and they referred me to post my problem here.

TLDR: Problem is PayDay 2 won't launch. Problems with PayDay started after 12 days of patching. Game will not launch. Shows black window box and immediately closes afterwards.

Hello, so, I just I finished playing Overwatch and saw your post. I tried launching the game, and it magically just started working again; however, when I got in the game, my resolution settings were incorrect. I changed them to 1920x1080 and the game was running like 30fps restricted console garbage. So, I went to the resolution settings folder and modified it. It had my refresh rate at 24 for some reason.. I changed it to 60 and now, when I launch the game, I can't select anything. Meaning, I can't see anything to select.

Mind posting your renderer_settings.xml file in here?
Together with your native screen resolution and refresh rate.

I have the same Problem. I reinstalled the Game but it closes after i launch it. The black Box is like when youre playing in Windowmode and the resolution is like 1024x768.
