Also is it normal that the players that join after the alarm on Mallcrasher don't get any xp ? Maybe the xp requirements should be put on the escape like with Four Stores instead of the alarm.
Also, I know it increases the amount of things saved by the host, but it would be really nice to have objectives saved per player. Nothing is more upsetting than losing connection halfway through, and by the time you get back, you lose all the work you put forward.
Now on the topics that sting a bit : as Ninja c. said above, SR rushing was a plague for you we get that, but still is a SERIOUS pain in the bottom to get so many bags in DW and not being properly rewarded for it.
I get it that the new system rewards you for objectives done and not only bags but bonus bags should reward you way more than they currently do. Looking at you Big bank, SR, Go bank eventually, all of the transport heists which are generally difficult and a pain to do in DW(Crossroads anyone?). And more important to me, is Car shop. Each car worth a house in Georgetown? Okay, so if our crew can pull out being excellent drivers, I say, why not having a good bonus for actually having the four cars secured?
And oh, PLEASE fix the bug where only the host has EXP for this job, it's a very painful thing to not receive anything for your work, really.
Car Shop, on the other hand, I was in since the beginning. As I was told by the other players, I stayed maskless for a good portion of the heist, spotting guards and locating objectives. I masked up to kill a guard and hack the computer, got a car in the container, and made it to escape and got nothing again.
I've been told it's a bug where if I don't hit a certain node somewhere on the level, the condition that would grant me XP at the end of a heist never ticks or something. But is there only one node on these levels?
- Shadow raid gives very low xp, if you want to get rid of rushing just remove the bin pickup asset. Even is people say it's a ♥♥♥♥ move just ignore them, if you don't want this in your game, just remove it.
- There is no point in joining other games in progress anymore as you will not be rewarded full XP; If the heist has multiple days 0 XP will be awarded for player who joined after day 1. (hotline miami is an example)
And like Durandil said ...transport heists are very hard and you don't get much XP. At the moment most people do Bank Heists, Diamond Store or Rats. I think you have to balance the XP for all heists.
But overall i like the XP update ...it's a motivation to get as much loot as possible.
To my eyes the solution is rather simple, just add an XP value to the notification you get from depositing bags into a dropoff point. Also making the bag requirements more gradual instead of the everything-or-nothing system would help in some cases, accidentally losing a single ingredient on Rats suddenly tanks the amount of XP you get form the job even if you manage to get the other six bags.
Feedback on XP:
Shadow Raid needs to be balanced.
There simply is no incentive to do it.
Set up the XP System so that if you leave or are disconnected, the game will remember your steam ID or smth so that you don't get as severe of a reduction.
Giving XP based on time played is a good idea, I support it. Would be nice to get some XP after failed mission based on time as well. I remember that I spent 2 hours failing heists as a new player with no rewards whatsoever...
