aquarium temperatures
I have several ice machine things in my exhibit, but the temp is staying high & not cooling down, even after a few in game days! What am I doing wrong?

You only need one item (cooler or heater) nomatter the size of the aquarium. Check the fish again which temperature it requires. It sounds like you added the wrong type.

Haven't tried aquariums in the Bungle area (science museum). That area is hot in itself.

I'm in a temperate area. I have no idea why the aquarium started hot, the game is supposed to default to temperate.

memento mile
Is it the aquarium specific cooler?

Mine also started in tropical/hot temperature. There is no cooler available for aquariums or it wasn't unlocked anyway. Also the fish flake dispenser gets empty in 10-20 sec and a specialist has to be there all the time. Probably there's a bug regarding this aquarium thing.

I totally agree. It's DUMB having the food run out so often, and the temp issue needs to be looked at by TPS.
Same here :skyesad: Always hot water temperature and empty food dispenser within seconds...

will do asap. Thanks jax. Also, last night I did a save & quit and the game hung.

I'll have to put an aquarium in my museum, I deleted it because of this issue. But I'll send it over soon.

Hello!

Just confirming here that we have received the saves and forwarded them onto the team for further investigation and will hopefully get a resolution out for you soon!

Bergmeister_1981 thank you as well for the additional information, we'll see if we can find out why the game hung as well when you tried to save and quit.

Thank you again for your patience!

Thank you Jax!
I noticed why Myself & others might of had this issue w/ unrelenting temps in aquariums, Cheat Happens has a no exhibit maintenance option, Unfortunately they didn't TEST that option enough, and fish are boiling alive. So Turn off option 6 y'all & report back if temps go down! They are possibly going to remove the option altogether as the creator can't isolate the aquariums from other stuff.

Here's his quote: "I guess fish tanks is a maintenance Item. I am likely not going to isolate this further for every decorative item. Noted, but likely going to be a continued issue. I can remove the option if it's not useful."

Hi guys,

Can anyone confirm if they have experienced this issue without using additional software/add-ons such as Cheat Happens?

Unfortunately we cannot fix issues with unsupported add-ons, but if there is an underlying bug with this that is in the vanilla game we want to make sure we address it :)

Thanks, Kris

Yes - just confirmed with the Cheat Happens trainer.

Had to delete and re-make the aquarium to fix. Doesn't seem to be a game issue.
