Tzaangor Shamans - anyone else fed up already?
I really am sick of the sight of these already. There just doesn't seem to be any tactic to reliably deal with them, and honestly the game feels like they're being spammed simply to up the difficulty. Every room's encounter on Ruthless and Lethal feels like you're guaranteed to see at least half a dozen of them, and the amount of times I have seen a player get stunlocked by twin shamans alongside the rest of the enemies is insane.

Showing up like they're on clearance at Christmas, extremely long reach on their attacks, inconsistent timing to their attacks following a Red / Blue aura flag, whizzing around faster than you can maintain a bead on them, getting easy stunlocks as you try and monitor things that simply don't sit in the field of view that everything else in the game is designed to make use of.

As if Chaos missions didn't have enough of a popularity issue in the community... Genuinely want to hear if it is just me. It's not that they're unbeatable, and at the same time I get we shouldn't expect to beat everything perfectly... but these to me are a negative experience. They do seem much harder than any other Majoris and overall feel like they're seen as massively annoying, not a challenge to overcome. Absolutely my least favourite part of this game, by a mile.

Then recognition is definitely a problem as I just completed Reliquary on Ruthless as Sniper... sitting back to snipe at a pair yet headshot after headshot and they're still in the air.

brother if using a sniper and multiple headshots arent killing them, then they must be missing. its understandable as they can move fast.

Hence why I mention recognition - double line hit markers are showing up but the blue beaked idiots are still gliding.

I was playing the Ruthless just now. And just before this I set up a loadout with MC dakka gun with Tac, because I don't have it leveled. And I was dumping the whole clip at close range into the flyguy and his call for reinforcements went ahead anyway.

And I RQed. Think that's my 6th or 7th since playing this game.

Flyguy is make mad guy.

they are the job of your sniper/heavy to deal with. your melees should be able to trust their sniper/heavy to deal with the ranged dps within a few seconds of entering line of sight, to allow them to do their job properly.

Honestly the best tactic is a vanguard with a melta you zip to them and blast them point blank normally makes short work of them.

Meltas thanks to the aoe can take them down quick when they miss an charge at you. Heavy bolter aim mid body and hold down if you get your headshots it makes quick work of 'm. Sniper can one shot them with his rifles. GL can make short work of them. The bolters best I can suggest is do your best to hit the head

If you have the neo pistol just stay on them, plasma pistol charge wait for them to settle a second if you can if not spam the headshots. Think the assault can slam them and put them out seen some dudes land on the disc that was cool.

And the best way to deal with them for any class is a krak grenade if I got too much going on they take out majoris in a single blast and stick to the target great for popping those disc surfers

Headshot them if you can. 3 or 4 shots from a heavy bolt pistol on lethal kills them. They drop pretty fast even faster if you focus fire them. When I see them I try and take them out asap.

I only play Lethal these days. Tzaangors are a pain in the ass BUT they have low health.

I am but it has more to do with their undodgeble frisby thrower move that is nearly impossibl to dodge because it curves into you.

The Dodge window for that needs to be a lot larger.
The fact they can go beyblade on you is what gives me troubles, especially when you have 2 just spamming that move, it is insanely hard to dodge and deals way too much damage.

And the problem gets infinitely bigger when you play bulwark, you only have a handgun, sure the neo vulkite gun deals good single target dmg but only when it gets to charge correctly, which it can't when the ♥♥♥♥ is moving so much.

One thing that might help dodging them is to recognize the timing of it. Many times you see that big orange circle you better get out of the way asap. These you have to wait a sec. Watch for when they launch themselves at you that's when you go not when you see the orange circle.

The problem isn't knowing what to do, it's knowing when to do it because they feel hugely inconsistent in when they fire off, and their positioning high off screen makes it a nightmare to monitor relative to other majoris.

I honestly stopped playing any of the Operations where Chaos is involved. They annoy the eff out of me and take away from my slicing and dicing enjoyment in the game.
