No Voice Sounds from Squad, Platoon or Outfit.
Since today, I've the problem that proximity voice chat's working fine, but no matter if Squad, Platoon or Outfit Voice Chat, I can't hear anyone.

I tryed everything I could possibly think off, resetting everything to default, or maybe I just don't turned them loud enough, but nope.
It's just not working.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I have/had similar issues, I just kinda gave up. Check to see if they are all turned up, sometimes they are muted. Squad, Platoon and Outfit chat each have a different voice volume controls. For me when I turn them up as loud as they can go, the voice becomes very hard to hear as there is a lot of interference with white noise. When I have them set on a lower setting it is to quiet to hear. Voice chat just sucks in the game in my experience.

Reinstalling can't be it...

And I mean voice chat in PS2 isn't that bad, could be worse...but still, so many buggs...everywhere!

I had the same issue. I am a new player to PS2 and it was working fine until a hotfix, then suddenly no sound from squad or platoon.

This worked for me.
First be in a squad and platoon (or you will not have access to all TABs).
Press P
You should be in the SOCIAL section (if not select it on the faces icon below).
Then select VOICE AND CHAT on the left.
If you are in a squad and platton, you should see SQUAD and PLATOON tabs.
Select one and then choose the VOICE OPTIONS on bottom right.
In my case, the volume had been set to zero (not by me).
I adjusted this and suddenly I could hear squad chatter.
Now investigate and do the same for the PLATOON tab.
This resolved my issue.

I find the chat actually very good with loads of options, just needs a little tweaking with other game sounds and I hear my fellow soldiers clearly.

Sometime I cannot get voice working at all, I just exit game and come back in. It is worth doing a voice check as soon as you enter the game. Press NumPad 4 to do a proximity chat and see if you can get someone to verify they can hear you.

Good luck all.
Enjoy

For now I am on Miller server EU

What you did was -- you clicked *Squelch all other voice* button that used to be ingame near the voice options.. Im glad they added sliders in finally -- Old fix is to delete your useroptions.ini file and have it remake a fresh one.

Yea, I pushed Squelch all other voice... now I have the same problem.

Don't push squelch...only proxy works after that :)
Random Event is the hero here!
Thanks a lot!

Deleting my useroptions.ini file in the PlanetSide 2 install folder fixed it when even Random Event's advice didn't help.

Way to necromancy :)

If userOptions Ini fixed it, then it probably messed with your volume settings, as it sometimes does after a patch.
