Game has stopped working

I start the game via the .exe and it comes to the patch screen, patches and then I click play and it loads it shows two producers and then it crashes and Microsoft reports "Game has stopped working"?
Someone else having that problem or knows how to fix it?
I got Win7, highend laptop, sure is not a requirement issue...

Doesn't work for me, game soft crashes after play is selected. No warning, no notification.
