Looks so good - why is it so low down on top sellers?
I have been watching Total Biscuit play this game online and i LOVE the concept. From what i understand - one of you can play as an evil dungeon master and then your buddies have to battle through your dungeon while you do your best to troll them :D

It sounds and looks like great fun.

-Why is it so low on the top sellers already? I thougt this type of game would be really popular.
-Are all the complaints legit? I have been around here long enough to know that 80 percent of those complaining about stuff are the same old 20 percent that always have problems and most likely need a new pc :D
-Is it worth buying to play solo / with randoms? - Is it easy to find games? I'm really sceptical nowadays of multiplayer only games since the value of your game is directly linked to how many people actually play it!

Really keen to get this.

It's low because it's either unheard of still by most, or because people know it's buggy as hell right now and don't wanna risk it.

Not all complaints are legit, but most are. The game still has a ton of problems, from level events not triggering right, or not ending, or causing your camera to go deep in the level and the only fix for it is a restart.

Solo, definitely not, to say the bots are pants-on-head levels of stupid would be a compliment. It's simply unplayable solo unless you want to do DM mode. Playing with randoms is usually fine, but if you host almost nobody will join your game unless you want to wait 45+ minutes.

It's easy to find games but odds are you can't connect to half of them.

With all that in mind, it's up to you if you wanna risk the purchase. Just know that even when it works, it's still buggy as hell.
Well most the bugs I've had problems with have been taken care of, but I'm sure atleast some of the complaints are very much true.

I've been playing with randoms and having a good time. However, if you want to DM you'll probably have to add some people from the forum. Otherwise it's a lot of waiting lol.

As far as personal experience goes most of the serious bugs I experienced are gone which was the main reason people steered away from playing. I was looking at a graph that had about 2k people playing at launch and now there are only 300-500 max playing a day.

Though when it comes to getting a good bulk of a community one chance is mostly all your gonna get becuase good luck getting that amount of people playing again(Or even close for that matter.). The game is pretty much good to play now, but there lies the problem of getting all those players back....

If you have a good computer your gonna experience little to no bugs. Bugs that I have seen now don't compare to when the game first came out.

I haven't played it much yet but I didn't really think it was all that fun, it seems kinda like a poor man's magicka, but even that seems to give it to much credit. Maybe I just haven't played it enough yet so don't give my comment too much weight.
It looks really good and is pretty fun to play with friends. The only thing that is annoying me so far is the sluggishness when you control your character. It also annoys me that it seems to take forever to kill any mobs, but that is probably down to me not being acustomed with the proper mechanics yet.
Its low on sales cause is horribly bugged, period. Paradox strikes again.
because its alpha. but is fun when it works
The game has a great concept and has all the makings of an original and fun title.

BUT they've really got to rehaul the terribly stupid A.I. Yeah, I know it's encouraged to go online but I don't want to have to deal with people online EVERY time I play.

The other issue is the camera which often times moves off tither and yon to some other place on the map while you're getting the bash and then the camera scrolls back slowly to where you were at only to find you spread eagle on your back with your pants missing and a bologna sandwich sticking out of your mouth.

The healer in your party could've helped but he prefers to just keep jumping in place during a crisis like he's having some 90-year-old's conniptions.
I like the concept of the game but this is a Paradox published title after all and they're always released in poor conditions. Judging from the impressions i got from the owners of the game, i am glad that i hesitated.
I don't even see it on the Top Sellers anymore.

But yeah, AVOID. At best, it's a beta.

DL had a fairly good idea, but it got killed by a horde of bugs, unbalanced gameplay, and bad design. (Seriously, why does Adventure Mode even exist? If I wanted to do that, I'd just play Diablo or Torchlight.)
For the Local Players like me - who want to play with friends & co on one PC...so it is a good thing, that the Adventure Mode Exist...
The adventure mode is really fun and relies heavily on you working as a team. Diablo and Torchlight while may seem similar at first glance play VERY differntly.

Being able to play with a group of friends over on the same screen is amazing and even if it's not perfect yet being able to join online with friends locally as well is awesome.

I've never had a problem with bugs or any such things.

However, since there is no character evolution and only 3 maps, things get boring quickly.
I wouldn't recommend this game fully unless you have people you know to play with, kinda like L4D etc. You CAN play public games sure, but they're usually not going to be as much fun.
This game has potential you be great but it got some major bugs still. Certain things lock up the screen for 1 to 3 seconds at a time causing death. Online people joining or dropping out does the same but for longer. Even if they attemptt o join and fail or give up. Progress stopping bugs run wild. From super fans that blow you back indefinatly to invis walls and glitching off the map. I really hope they fix this up before the online dies before it got going
