this pretty much somes it up, the devs mesed up their chances of a great little title with a horrible launch now there is no one playing it. I wish there was I wouldn't have wasted my money, the only way to possibly get the player count back up is to do a heck load of promotion and maybe something like an 80% off free-weekend but that is after you get the act together and fix all of the bugs.
Agreed, a free weekend is the only thing left they can do to revive any sort of player base here. Not sure how much it sets one back to do a free weekend or if they can afford it. They need to fix some of the issues that prevent even basic gameplay though or everyone is just going to be reminded why the servers are empty
New patch (1.0.6108.6179) is out.
But it feels not even like a fix.
Some new items in it! Hmmm'kay?
Why don't find a thread to "patch 1.0.6108.6179" on forum?
Did you afraid of the review of the people?
Where are these little things that makes the game little bit more round?
You know?! The mess with joining and leaving of parties.
Have you ever thought that this could use to abuse?
Apart from that this is the core/heart of a multigamer co-op-game.
Everytime i look at the Paradox forum, i think: There are so many gametitels they should know it better.
Or are all games from Paradox kind of "frustration" like DL?
Why paradox does not say that it will take another 3-5 months?
Then you know where you are!
I bet it can be found in less than 2 days 100 tester (for free)
and in less than a week a handful of good, ambitious, talented programmer (for free)
who realy want to help.
This isn't a violation of (your) masculinity.
It is a service offering of the community to support the things we love.
THINK ABOUT IT or stay on the sinking ship and see what's happen.
besides this fact (if you could say beside^^) the game is randy, horny, wicked, rich. (translate with google for the german word *geil* ;-))
when it runs is something for everyone.
as hard as it wants to have any.
A free weekend, are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me? That's what you want? I'd settle for a refund. When I buy something at a retail store and it's all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and broken in the box, they either give me a new, unbroken one or a full refund, MY CHOICE.
These lazy ass developers have done nothing to actually make this game any better at all, it's a massive waste of money and they are partly responsible for my current bitter attitude to indie developers.
You know what I want? I want them to fix the issues the community has with the game and give of the DLC for free for being such lazy pricks about it.
I remember when this game came out, everyone was all like, well you need to support them! It came from Brazil! Well it looks like the only thing that comes out of Brazil is garbage. Good job devs.
You sure threw a huge temper tantrum over your TEN DOLLAR GAME.
This game has always run great for me, I am honestly perplexed by how angry people get about it. There are occasional connection issues but for the most part I can always find a game or get players if I host. I seriously think that the vast majority of people who are screaming about connection issues, stuttering, lag or any of the other "problems" that are inducing these rage tears have problems on their end.
If this game can run fine for many, it stands to reason that it isn't necessarily the game's fault if you can't?
I laughed pretty hard at this, thanks pal.
So you one of the whopping 20 or so people that are actually online? Good for you if it works but for the majority it has serious issues. Maybe some are user end but most are not. Not sure how you can be "perplexed". It's quite simple really. The drop of average players from in the thousands to under 100 in 2 months should be a clue that its not a small group having problems.
Welp, I guess I'll blacklist this Developer and Publisher (their Magicka also gave me a pain in the butt) altogether from my purchase list forever.
Wooooow.
Does that ever sum this up.
Crying shame as well, since Magicka did a similar thing, excellent idea, horribly rushed, buggy and unplayable launch with little effort put into making it playable before everyone got bored and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off.
And just like Magicka, the devs are more interesting in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out DLC than making the game playable.
