Has the online been fixed yet?

I remember downloading this on the day that it went F2P and the multiplayer did not work at all. I kept trying to invite my friend, but I could not get into a game with them. I later went and found a discussion made by someone else adressing this, but what I gathered from the comments on it is that the developers sort of "abandoned ship", and the game was not going to be patched. Is this still the case (from what i've gathered, it is, but I want to be sure before re-downloading)?

I've been able to get my friends to play with me since the very beginning. So I don't really have your issue. The only problem is the issue on trying to get friends in your game. It just takes a bit of time.
However, they can still come in, they always were able to...Maybe we had the same issue, yet, I kept on trying for a min or two.....
