High Scores: Always in top 5?
I'm not trying to brag and say that I'm some kind of prodigy on this game, (just a bit of a sadist when it comes to always making sure I get every bit of gold in a level and always take the hard routes,) but I find that, even on levels where I screw up 4-point loops, or when I don't hit a bullseye at the end of the stage, or when I don't perfectly maximize the number of Dances I can get in for a level, I still place in the top 5 scores on every level, yet I haven't once been able to do anything but tie the top score.

Is anyone else finding this? Is the game automatically placing your scores on leaderboards as always near the top, regardless of what your actual score was? It seems ridiculous to think that I'd be ranking that consistently in the exact same position.

If no one on your friend's list has played that particular level yet, then the game automatically places you as 3rd in reference to other people. So my guess is if you really scored at rank #100, then the game shows you in reference to ranks #98,#99, #101, and #102. Now if you have friends who have played that particular level, then you are ranked relative to just that set of friends.

Now if you have been noticing this trend by manually checking the leaderboards (from the main menu), then I'd say you are just that damn good. =P

THERE we go. I'd only been looking in the micro leaderboards at the end of each stage. The proper global leaderboards from the main menu sing a much different tune.
