Game used to run fine, now won't start. Anyone else have this problem?

So I have had this game for a while and it used to work just fine. I was playing it earlier this year and everytihng was a-okay. I stopped for a while and then tried to play agin a month or so later, never unistalled it, and it would not work. The pop-up would show "starting bit trip runner two" then it would go away and notihng would happen. I have varified the game cache and uninstalled and re-installed multile times. Drivers are up to date, any other suggestions?

For those having a simialar problem, I was getting a message along the lines of "The M(something).dll file is missing. Try reinstallling the program to fix this issue." To fix it I just went in to the game files, _CommonRedist, vcredist, 2010. Then you run the two vcedist files and unistall them. Then run then again and install them. Worked for me!
