Anna - Extended Edition
THE ONLY THING i want added to this game is:
time activated hints. tips, or directional dialogue. pick either one.

i can't tell you how many times i have had to crack open a walkthrough just to figure out what i need to pick up or interact with just to progress for a few minutes before getting stuck again..

by far, this is the only game that has THE MOST horriffying, goosebump causing, "NOPE NOPE NOPE" saying game i have ever played. i have never come across a game that has such a terrifying atmosphere just by standing in one room for a minute or two.

the only thing is, there is nothing telling me what i'm supposed to do in order to progress.. nothing that explains why i'm doing what i'm doing, why need things or why i'm picking up and using them in a certain way.. like the lantern oil for example.. that thing is SO annoyingly hiddne in plain sight that it toom me almost an hour and a half of searching to find it... that's incredibly immersion breaking!..

i don't need a directional arrow pointing to the next thing.. i would just rather some cryptic dialogue or notes with key words in them that will help me think of what i'm supposed to do next to progress.

the books you pick up, while informative, doesn't help you figure out what to do next.

Thanks. Add that to the drm and i'm out no sale even at it's % off.
are you seriously going to fuss about DRM? it's not that big of a deal.. this game is great in every aspect except how easy it was for me to get stuck on a puzzle..

Yes. But not just the drm. The review sold me on not buying.
I've never got on with these types of games and I'm not sure how long I am going to bother with this one having got it in a bundle.

I totally agree with 'WTF is going on', I would never equate a branch with what it is able to do and would never in a million years have tried what doing so achieves, to me that is what a rock is for.

Same with reaching something too high up, use a pile of rocks or logs to reach it, they are stacked there looking at you yet unusable, but it turns out the solution is the opposite.

These games seem to rely on really obscure puzzles that require you to scour the play area with the cursor to see what is considered accessible/useable and then spamming your inventory over a puzzle until you hit the solution.

I enjoy working out puzzles, not even knowing an object exists for the solution and it then doing something weird I don't.
