riflekills dont count ? for a unlock of a barrel called kriegsmodell carabine for the carabiner 98

it sais unlock requirements 35 rifle kills.
I just killed 5 enemies with the karabiner 98 with only 5 shots without reloading , in the first mission so i could unlock the mg13 trench magazine, witch i did but those kills and other kills i made with the k98 rifle didnt count also, i can safely asume the k98 is a rifle right ??

or is it bugged

SMALL UPDATE ,

I just killed 15 + peopel with a rifle k98, in mission 2, and still nothing no rifle k,ill count for the unlock, i only get ribbons with x rifle kills

so it must be bugged or i am missing something

I havent given the Kar98 a go yet, but wouldnt suprise me if its bugged.

SE5 had a couple of bugged unlocks like this for the longest time, i think it took the devs like 4 months to fix it.

i did it in campaign and they did not register,
dont know about multiplay, i havent played that mode yet

Well, at least this is a bug I am not seeing, my K98 kills are properly registered. So this bug must only trigger for some people.

then your lucky :P , i even did a full new install on a difrent drive, removing any rasce of teh old install, problem is still teh same .

i could use a difrent rifle just to test if its my k98, it doesnt state it needs to be the k98, i am just using it as its the best in all games i played in this series , i will let peopel know here if itsthe same with another rifle

i also did it with the Berthier 1916 rifle still no rifle kills registerd for the barel-> kriegsmodel carabine, so it must be a bug that counts for atleast 2 rifles i have availeble

i could try another rifle but i dont think the results wil differ

I need to apologise and I may need to level up my reading comprehension... :-D I failed to realise you specifically talk about the Kriegsmodell Carbine! I always put the Extended Marksman on the K98K and never bother with any of the other options really, at least in the campaign, in Survival or whenever speed is more of a concern I do sometimes use it though, but have not played Survival etc yet.

I can unlock the mastery medal (I already did), I can get any other medal with the rifle (scored a 100+m testicle shot with it which gave me "Das Nuts"), so I thought you were referring to that, but you are 100% correct, none of these kills, and I had another 35+ just now (did a quick test run of mission 3 which is easy peasy for long range or any rifle kills), do count towards the Kriegsmodell Carbine... I should have unlocked it ages ago actually, because I have killed a lot more than 35 enemies with the K98 already.

So this is definitely a bug.

sometimes an unlock requirement fails to state what the actual kill requirement is. try different kinds of kills, headshots, collaterals, penetrative, etc, if it doesn't count ANY kill type, then it is most certainly bugged, if it does count one of the kill types, then it's just bad writing.

Not working for me with K98 in campaign.

I did a double-take after finishing my first run and saw the "35 Rifle Kills" that hadn't moved at all...I know, for a fact, that I exceeded that number in the second mission alone.

Maybe it's waiting for my "other" rifle? The M1903.

There is something weird about that bug. Because if you check your Survival loadouts you would see the Kriegsmodell there, but it's not available in the campaign..
