A FOV fix is coming in a patch TODAY

We worked yesterday (a holiday here in Chile) and will keep on working to fix issues.

We listen to the community. Always have. Always will.

And just to clarify a misconception from certain journalists: This is still a small indie studio making a pretty big game. I don't like the assumptions that we're now a "big" company.

Edit: The patch will bring a new option in the graphic settings menu where you can choose two FOV options: 'Default' or 'Wide'. If the wide settings are not of you're liking we're opening up the FOV values to be edited in the DefaultGame.ini (this changes only the 'Wide' option).

...Sliders would have been nicer - but for a quick 2 day fix, I think this is pretty good.

Here are the values of the wide FOV that can be custom-edited in the DefaultGame.ini

Wow, spending the worker's day working shows some awesome dedication, thanks! Personally, I didn't have a problem with the narrow FOV, but it's good to hear that the game will now be accessible for more people.
I hope you can take a day off sometime else as compensation.

Excellent customer support! Something so blantantly missing with most of todays mainstream dev's. Thank you for deciding to work over your holiday. As others have indicated, it was difficult playing the game for extended periods. I didn't have motion sickness, but the way the fov reacted to zooming did bother my eyes. Again, thank you and looking forward to playing the game post patch :).

I see how different FOV's can make combat more intense. However, I have a 27" monitor and I am one of those people that get motion sick while playing. I want to keep your zoomed in effect but lessen it to a degree.
