Opensuse
The game works great on opensuse as long as "steam overlay" is disabled, I do however have a problem with the game exiting if I try to enter settings.
I would also like to say that I have almost finished the game now and it is amzing!
setup: Opensuse 12.2 X86_64, Nvidia proprietary drivers 304.64

Yeah, "settings" doesnt' work on Ubuntu either.

Got it to work by replacing the file "The Book of Unwritten Tales/lib/32/" with this file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7114188/RenderSystem_GL.so
This also works with The Critter Chronicles.
