Weird graphical issue

I'm at the beginning of the game and finding that there's some weird blurriness going on with the fire animations in the pub, as shown in this screenshot (I hope I'm doing this right):

It's harder to tell when the animations are not moving, but even in that still shot you can see the "boxes" around the torches and the fireplace. Admittedly it's not a huge deal (assuming it doesn't cause a gameplay bug later on), but I am curious to know if anyone has run into this problem before and has a solution.
