Honestly I hate the SJW thing as much as anyone, but when it comes to this DLC you're just being silly.
"Social justice warrior" (commonly abbreviated SJW) is a pejorative term for an individual promoting socially progressive views, including feminism, civil rights, multiculturalism, and identity politics.
Basically it's what some people say when they want to disagree with you but can't come up with a reasonable argument so resort to namecalling.
All the Best,
Welsh Dragon.
EDIT: The idea that promoting civil rights and equality is somehow a bad thing is really mind boggling to me, but it's a funny old world.
Basically people who make a job of taking offence where none was meant, often on behalf of groups they are not part of and/or in patronizing defence of people who did not ask for their dubious "protection".
Some use it to mean "anyone who isn't a bumhead like me", so beware of that, they are the other side of the same coin.
@WD I don't think from your posts you would be an SJW tbh.
By your definition I'd agree. But I've been accused of it and many other things besides.
All the Best,
Welsh Dragon.
And history does not have many empires built with women as the rank and file of their armies.
Feminism pretends to pursue equality but it actually pursues female supremicy at the expense of men and histroical fact.
Female generals are another thing.... They did happen in history many times... I can think of a few that were beaten in battle but can't think of any right now that were great winning generals.
SJW would have the truth of historical male military supremecy replaced with lies about gender equality to encourag more girls to become CEO's ...
Biology and evolution had made men and women specialits at differnt and complimentary fields.
Yes. Especially after the last one's lackluster reception.
Why not for Attila? Attila is, subjectively, a better game. I'd rather see new content with the fleshed out mechanics of Attila.
Maybe I missed something but I didn't see any new features. Just another nation pack with different skinned units.
Because Rome 2 is consistently the game played by far more people, has sold better, and is well liked by a good many people. That's not to say Attila doesn't have its fans too, just that they went with the bigger playerbase this time.
The DLC brings four new playable factions, which isn't to everybodies tastes, but for players like me represents a lot of content, gameplay hours and enjoyment. (I play almost entirely singleplayer campaigns, and I'm not really much of a mod user.)
It also pays for the work going into the accompanying Free-DLC (details can be found here at the bottom: https://www.totalwar.com/blog/total-war-rome-ii-desert-kingdoms ) and patch (no details yet, but there should be one.)
Hope that helps.
All the Best,
Welsh Dragon.
