Same size hulls can have vastly different mass!

I noticed something just now. The mass of a ship can vary wildy. My old ironclad had a hull size of 1160 and the new one had 1278, but the newer one weighed 38 mass less! Just one more thing to look out when looking for your dream ship :)

Gravity may not be the biggest factor in space, but the mass of ships do put a strain on the ships systems, the bigger your ship, the bigger the engines and environmental systems need to be, thats why a lovely engine on a light ship goes faster than an even better engine on a heavier ship.

Same size ships have different armor value and we have "Trunklutators" present, which are bigger inside than outside.
