Map glitch?

I'm having trouble using the map at all. I've looked through the other discussion sections, and it doesn't seem like anyone is having the same problem I am?

I can't see the map at all. Whenever I use a map stone, the map just looks like a blank piece of parchment. I thought I might need to finish the story mode to use the map, so I have completed the story. Anyone have any thoughts?
