My pc crashes

Since the last update of the launcher, my PC has crashed when I have been playing for a short time, I cannot close the game with any keyboard command, even in the window I cannot press X to close it.
Someone else happens? Is there any solution?

yeah can't close the game or alt-tab. When you try whole computer freezes. ctrl+alt+del, ctrl+shift+esc don't work. Worked fine this morning and is constant after recent update

Having the issue since after the April 12 update.

Mine started doing this to.
Are you getting "The GameInput Service service terminated unexpectedly" in your windows system event log?

Instead of all that, start Xbox game pass then run the gam

I still crashed the same way the next day but it seems like stopping/starting the service before I start the game fixes the crashing

I haven't tested it yet but I've set the remaining GameInput Service start as Automatic (Delayed Start) to see if that helps

Neither of that work on my machine sadly.
(And I didn't buy a game pass. ;-) )

Thanks to that last patch (sometime in the last 12 hours) I can't get it to work at all anymore

No longer a hard crash so I guess thats a partial step forward

after last update, my PC crashed from starting the game
not be able to start the game again
file verification does not help
only see a black screen with some sort of debug information in the top left corner

Greetings, did anyone find a solution to this crashing pc error? My pc just freeze after a couple of minutes playing. So sad I won't be able to complete the event

I submitted it to their discord. They asked for the account and tech specs.
"We will verify and fix it as soon as possible. The fixed content will be announced in DC."

I guess the more ppl report the bug, the higher it get's on their priority list..

Yeah had issues when exiting the game and was stuck, no keybinds/commands could do anything. Eventually the game BSOD my computer and corrupted some files so used a restore point to fix some of it but had to reinstall multiple things...

*Side note* Alt-tabbing causes many issues usually revolving around either being frozen/stuck for up to a minute or even longer on worse case scenarios.

same problem. i installed it yesterday but when i just start the game in less than 2 minutes my PC crashes and freezes completly. i hope they find the problem soo nad patch it out. my friend i wanted to play with is waiting...
