The game is an adaptation of the Turkish historical drama series Resurrection: Ertuğrul made by the same studio. Granted, in its current state, I can't say for sure how much it will align with the TV-series and what will be different.

The player will control three characters: Ertuğrul, Turgut and Meryem. The game is a combination of action adventure and survival in the life of a 13th-century Turkish nomad. In addition to fighting, it envolves hunting, gathering resources, crafting items and upgrading buildings in the camp of the tribe.

Combat is fairly simple, but it can be challenging. Enemies can perform different types of attacks requiring either dodging or blocking at the right moment to avoid. In addition, there's almost always a large group of enemies to fight. Fighting is done with sword and bow. To provide more variety, there are attacks that cause bleeding, poison or fire damage in addition to regular ones.

In addition, the finished game will feature a large amount of Turkish folklore and myths ("Ulukayin" is the name of the Tree of Life from Turkish shamanism to provide one example).

At the time I'm writing this, the game doesn't have an excess of content. Only 2 story chapters that effectively introduce the basic mechanics of the gameplay. In addition, in its current incomplete state, the game regrettably has a notable amount of bugs and glitches.

However, despite the issues, I'd say the game is looking promising indeed. And the developers intend to fix the issues with the full release of the game - which they've stated they're planning to do in the near future.
