Two words: Region Lock

...the title says it all.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, why is this still a thing ? My only friend who is interested in MMORPG is in USA and i'm in Europe, so for this ♥♥♥♥ing region lock, we can't play together.

Really, if this wasn't a thing, this game would have been sooo much better...

They can download the game from the gameforge client.

USA isnt region locked from europe, actually allot of US players play on the EU server, its just not available on their steam, simply going to the gameforge website and downloading the client makes it possible for your friends to play, there is no difference from the steam and original client only that you cant use your steam wallet and that you dont auto login ^^

if you use steam direct application link even people in usa can download eu tera and play in steam

The only thing that's region locked about this game is which publisher shows up on your steam store. And there's a direct download command you can use to download the other region's version if you really want to play through Steam, anyways.

Thanks for you help. I wasn't really sure because i already tried playing with non-european friends on other MMOPG like this using the website launcher, and in those cases the situation was the same as on the steam version... this time it worked ^^

I would not have made this post if i didn't made a research first trying to find a solution.
And calm down, snowflake, you surely don't know me and i surely didn't insulted your favourite game (if it wasn't clear, i find it pretty good). I know this post sound like a childish rant, but after trying to find a solution without success i was pretty pissed off like anyone would have been at my place.

go to enmase site and download usa client and play there is no problems and locks
