Any fun mods for FTL?

I've been playing FTL a ton since release, and I got to wondering... Are there any fun mods out there?
I am not looking for mods that make the game easier.
I'm looking for mods that make the game more fun!

If anyone knows if any fun FTL mods, (That aren't cheaty,) please post them below. (=

How do I install the mods? I cant find my game files because their on Steam D:

I actually am still viewing this discussion, and while I haven't looked into FTL Mods for QUITE a long time, I don't mind the extra info. Others may find it useful, and I might get into FTL again at some point.
