If you are receiving this message, the LOTRO servers may be down for updates or encountering an issue alowing log in.

Please check the LOTRO[www.lotro.com] forums and/or the game launcher for any service updates. While on the forums, click on 'New Posts'. Other users may be receiving this message as well and have already reported it.


  • Start by power cycling your router and/or modem by unplugging them, wait 10 to 20 seconds, then plugging them back in.

  • Once those have reset themselves, click on the "Start" button and then click on "All Programs" and "Accessories"

  • In the menu, find the "Command Prompt" icon, right-click it and choose Run as Administrator. If this option is not listed, simply left-click the command prompt icon instead.
    (Windows 8 users: Hold down the Windows key and press "X" and select "Command Prompt (Admin)" from the list.)

  • On the Command Prompt window that pops up, type the command below exactly as it appears, hitting the enter key afterward:

    ipconfig /flushdns

You may need to forward ports through your router. Check the knowledge base at www.lotro.com to get specifics.

This particular error is normally a communications related error.
If the particular server (World) is Up, then:

1- is this a NEW installation? -- if so, check the router port settings:

The information and instructions apply to both the Mac and PC Clients

2- if this is an existing installation which has worked before -- wait 10-15 minutes and try again.

This error will also happen if the Servers is very busy. LOTRO has a queueing system which funnels players into the login process (Queuing for server) and occasionally you may hit a time when many others are trying to login, and the attempt process "times out" -- generating the message. Usually all you need to do is "try again."

Это мои дорогие друзья не ошибка, все верно, это самый настоящий БАН!
Заходим за ОФФ сайт Лотро.ком------Форум----Релогаемся и нам прям в еб*льник светит надпись:"You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Jul 09 2017, 12:52 AM"
Вот и все, и не надо ничего , никаких прокси серверов, DNS всякие, в Панель управления лазить, жди просто.....Сиди и жди как зек в тюрьме)
