Game won't run

So whenever i try to start the game it gives me the error "failed to create vertex buffer" and then it crashes. However when i switch to Windows 10 ( usually use windows 8.1) it works and doesnt have that error. I dont want to have to keep switching back and forth just to play it. Does anyone have a possible fix?

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling? :) if that doesn't work try to uninstall it from Steam and download it straight from Nexon, I hope that helps

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Vindictus\en-US\bin -" config_material.txt "move it from the file or delete it and try to load the game. uninstalling a game still leaves config files for the most part so even reinstalling wont help. but this should note: the game will recreate the file for you no worries.
