Lann is also a possibility for you, but he carries two swords, not one katana.
Maybe the next character will have what you want.. i hear another male char will be introduced sometime in the next expansion.
Once you hit 90, use a weapon fusion rune to maintain the cosmetic look.
I don't think we'll see a new character for a year or more though. Planning that far ahead to avoid "Genderlock" is a bit silly. Kiva, was it? The sword and gun character out of Bloodborne? Heh...
Actually, the whole immersion issue with "Genderlock" is silly too. Why are people so uptight about that? It's like being annoyed that you can't play Zangief wearing Cammy's clothes, and doing Chun-Li moves...
Seeing how Vindictus is, planning a character around ONE weapon, instead of planning around the character him or herself is a sure way to quit before you hit level 60. But hey... whatever floats your boat.
well since you cant read my original post ill say it again. I like to put my self into a game as if i was the character, I personally like katanas so thats my go to choice of sword. I like melee classes because i like to be up close and personal during combat. I hate genderlock classes in any game because i hate playing as a female. After i play a game once and do everything i go back and try new character.
