Level 17 is unfair ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t
Was enjoying the game up until this point, but it seems the developer's only idea for making a game harder is to just throw more and more enemies at you. Constant attacking and projectiles so you have no openings to actually attack anything without getting hit while your health is constantly draining. Such a shame, the game was damn good up until this point.

Just got to 18 and it's even worse. Just a cluster of random crap, projectiles going into the back and foreground on a 2D level making deflecting them unreliable, while the projectile throwers have far too much health.

You've gotten further than most already so I think you'll be fine lol.
Bad news is you'll still have 2 more stages of being poisoned.
Deflect/Reflect are gonna help alot. Use this opportunity to get used to the sword girl patterns. Remember anytime you get a perfect deflect and they turn green you heal from hitting them.
The Air life draining chi move is great here as well if you have it.
The plus side of being poisoned is that you basically have infinite Chi because the gauge fills when it's flashing and beeping so do lots of budda slams.

Let me know if you want me to record a video of each stage. I'll do them all in hard mode to give you ideas of how to tackle them. But if you'd rather figure it out alone dark souls style that's even better :)
