Unable to play.

Monitor say's input not supported when i launch the game. Tried to change resolution's but cant get it to work. Disappointing. Any help is much appreciated.

Try to start the game with the --window switch. That will make CoE start in windowed mode.

I've just tried to start this game but I simply get a black screen that I can't exit out of and I have to restart the laptop!

for anyone else that has this problem here is a quick guide.when in steam game page right click on game title.go to properties and left click .left click set launch options.in box type --window.then start game.when in game you can set prefrences to desired option which is usualy 1280x 1024.this will now allow you to play full screen.hope this helps.

My netbook seems to be able to run 1024 x 600 as the resolution with biggest numbers, would the game still work on that, and perhaps more importantly would I be able to read any text in it?

I've tried to set launch options with --windows and it still wont work it starts up in a windowed mode but instantly says COE3 has stopped working. any fixes?
