No Split Screen Support , Avoid this game !
Okay , So this game got 3.5 score on gamespot.com

http://www.gamespot.com/007-legends/reviews/007-legends-review-6398765/

See , in the verdict , the only advantage that this game had was split screen , that's mainly why it took 3.5 out of 10 not 2 or 1 on the Xbox , but for PC , guess what ? PC users don't get split screen nor controller support ! Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Christ ! Really ?

main reason I pre-ordered this was to enjoy it on the big screen that is hooked up to my PC and then use 4 xbox controllers , so we can have some living room fun , like we do with Fifa 13 , Jamestown , Rayman origins , trine series and other games.

Wait till you move the mouse , you will have this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up feeling that feels like you are moving an analog stick and not a mouse , this does not feel anything like a PC FPS game , the mouse horizontal and vertical speeds are not the same not even close from one to another. It feels like ♥♥♥♥ !

I have never felt more ripped off in my life by any game as much as this game.

Save your money , Don't buy anymore Activision games , clearly those dollar worshipers don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about PC users at all , Their games look so ♥♥♥♥ because their main market are Consoles , maybe Activision will make good games again when new generation consoles come out but not when consoles are so far behind like now.

aaaand how many games support split screen on the PC? maybe 2 or 3?
....
i'm seeing lotsa complaints about this game, but this is the dumbest yet!
kudos!

Clearly grim you did not read my post till the end , even if you had a tiny little brain , you would understand that it doesn't have to be split screen but local multiplayer on the screen like the examples I have given above. But what can I say , you probably a lonely guy that have no one to enjoy those stuff with , I feel bad for you.

and again i ask, what actually supports split screen on the PC.. and these days, local/LAN modes are also becomming fairly rare.

if you want split screen, just get a console, though even then many games are ditching split screen support.

Why even post if your are just gonna tell somebody to buy a console? Are we not on Steam? PataPon was making a point that the only thing that makes this game worth it would be split screen and this game doesn't have it on PC. This is in no way his fault that the developer doesn't care about the PC version of their game.

Now just because split screen and local multiplayer games are more rare on the pc than on consoles, it doesn't mean that it is not something that is wanted by the gaming community. I for one only game on PC because I love it and I've been through 3 360s and 2 PS3s. My PC, like many others', is connected to a beautiful HDTV and is the centerpiece of my entertainment setup. Maybe you should say Valve is stupid for making big picture mode? Gimme a break. PC gaming industry hit an all time high last year and many people are using it as a console and family entertainment center.

Just because some developers aren't doing something doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. And by the way there are some quality split screen and local multiplayer supported games on the PC. Games of which all have a following due to just this reason. Some of us still have friends and family that we know physically and like to have them over to enjoy some multiplayer goodness. Some of us enjoy playing in the ACTUAL company of our ACTUAL friends. Some of us do not feel like playing through an online co-op campaign with some dude named Consoles4Life. Some of us do not need or want fake online buddies to enjoy our favorite games with.

There is still nothing like sitting on the couch with friends or family and enjoying some split screen or local multiplayer action. It is just an amazing time.

Well Said Mr.Fathom ! I totally agree with you on all your points , as for Grim , I already own 2 xboxes and a PS3 , there is no need to tell me to buy a console because I already own them , I just cannot imagine my self playing split screen in 720p with rendering problems and auto aim assist console crap.

Why would I give up my 5000$ PC and end playing the game on a 200$ console ? Did I not pay 50$ for the game just like console users ? then the least I should have is what console people are having.

This is just a bad game , with a very bad developer just should have never stepped in the PC scene. I am 100% sure no major publisher will give this developer any more jobs for any PC title.

I'd never buy a PC game assuming it would have split screen,...

PataPon, seriously, you have to be a total lost, the console forums are to the left. NO ONE buys PC Games just to play Split Screen MP. Seriously wake up! If you want to play Split Screen than go and buy the Console version little kid. You are one lost puppy. Are you here to troll? You must be! Because I seriously can’t understand anyone wanting to play on a PC Split Screen. The screens are entirely way too small. Plus you are bunched up with each other on a smaller screen then playing split screen on your crappy console. Get a life dude! Go someplace else and whine.

Another lonely tard up here ^ , Poor kid , never heard that you can plug your screen using an HDMI cable to a secondary display that can be 60" like mine or even more. I have one suggestion for you tard kid , google " Steam BIG PICTURE " and then come back.
ElfShotTheFood 9 Nov, 2012 @ 8:29am
I heard you can't play this game over TEN or a serial cable either...NO BUY!!
swenor 9 Nov, 2012 @ 9:52pm
PataPon - pc games rarely get splitscreen. I am not happy that you are upset, but it is your fault for not making research. Before you buy a game read reviews for PC version specifically, search forums and go there http://www.co-optimus.com/. Thus you will save yourself frustration.
Caveat Emptor
Steam page for 007 says nothing about coop, and your review is for X360, and not for PC :(

Well Said swenor , I was just trying to take advantage of the 10% Discount of pre-ordering , noticed that the reviews were bad for the Xbox before pre ordering , but I was like eh what the heck , atleast it has split screen and it will remind me of my old days playing Golden Eye on the N64.

Anyway thanks for the tip and nice site I did not know before.

Good luck with next purchases. I know how it hurts when you buy a product you are disappointed with.
