....
i'm seeing lotsa complaints about this game, but this is the dumbest yet!
kudos!
if you want split screen, just get a console, though even then many games are ditching split screen support.
Why even post if your are just gonna tell somebody to buy a console? Are we not on Steam? PataPon was making a point that the only thing that makes this game worth it would be split screen and this game doesn't have it on PC. This is in no way his fault that the developer doesn't care about the PC version of their game.
Now just because split screen and local multiplayer games are more rare on the pc than on consoles, it doesn't mean that it is not something that is wanted by the gaming community. I for one only game on PC because I love it and I've been through 3 360s and 2 PS3s. My PC, like many others', is connected to a beautiful HDTV and is the centerpiece of my entertainment setup. Maybe you should say Valve is stupid for making big picture mode? Gimme a break. PC gaming industry hit an all time high last year and many people are using it as a console and family entertainment center.
Just because some developers aren't doing something doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. And by the way there are some quality split screen and local multiplayer supported games on the PC. Games of which all have a following due to just this reason. Some of us still have friends and family that we know physically and like to have them over to enjoy some multiplayer goodness. Some of us enjoy playing in the ACTUAL company of our ACTUAL friends. Some of us do not feel like playing through an online co-op campaign with some dude named Consoles4Life. Some of us do not need or want fake online buddies to enjoy our favorite games with.
There is still nothing like sitting on the couch with friends or family and enjoying some split screen or local multiplayer action. It is just an amazing time.
Why would I give up my 5000$ PC and end playing the game on a 200$ console ? Did I not pay 50$ for the game just like console users ? then the least I should have is what console people are having.
This is just a bad game , with a very bad developer just should have never stepped in the PC scene. I am 100% sure no major publisher will give this developer any more jobs for any PC title.
Caveat Emptor
Steam page for 007 says nothing about coop, and your review is for X360, and not for PC :(
Anyway thanks for the tip and nice site I did not know before.
