Can play with both keyboard or gamepad.
Yes, game is best with friends/others, you can still find games up to play with people.
I don't like craft system. Why i need to select all ingredients to craft something ?
I don't like fighting animations. When many sprites all is confusing to see.
I won't buy this game even if i'am sure it worth nice promotion price.
You can turn off the popup effects during combat to see better.
May I ask what about the interface was hard for your to use? Because you had to navigate via WASD/controller?
I will try to play demo soon to see i'am always refractory about your interface or not.
About crafting it will be auto. If it require ingredients all should be auto to do. I didn't see its possible to replace ingredient by another. Thinked a while game was bugged lol because no craft 1st time i tried.
And the crafting is not bugged, you must not have had all the required stuff. For example to craft a blue sword youll need 3 green swords, 10 green materials, 3 blue materials and around 6k tokens.
Lol craft system. Imagine i play multiplayer party. I said to others players : STOP PLEASE. Why ? I must craft weapon, checking if i have all ingredients, highlighting all ingredients needed and take care of quantities to not destroy more ingredients what i need in real. PLEASE WAIT. Do you think its playable ? Hey wake up mans, we are in 2013. Computers with exe programs can make that for us. When i played Terraria i crafted tons of item & never Terraria asked me to check anything while craft. Its computer job not player job. If game don't abble to do subtraction & auto check that's shame. Don't make me laught with such craft system.
I just told i thinked crafting was bugged 1st time i done because i didn't expected such annoying crafting system.
Ok guys. i want to tell you something. You want to sell games by making them. But if you want sell tons of copies, you have to think better. I want to buy this kind of game to kill monsters & questing, in multiplayer if allowed. But i don't want to waste my time in others ways or battle agaisnts interface i don't like. And PC players aren't same than console. To end, its not because game is close from Game Boy Graphic what you have to think you should make it like console. When you'll understand that, you'll make games with better sales.
Your game isn't bad but it don't match with i expect from it.
The game is very enjoyable. Drop rates are comfortable and feel more rewarding when obtained. I'm in full Epics and working on my Requiem as we speak. Elementalist/Alchemist is a fine combination, it is the aptitude of the players, not the aptitude of the class. Alchemists must time their blocking and be evasive, whereas the Elementalist must be purely evasive and kiting. It works fine, I've seen it done.
Crafting is easily accessible, Velvet, for anybody. If you could not survive Epic, you were both improperly geared or not very adept at the game. Practice makes perfect if you give it your all, I am an excellent Fighter and will soon become an excellent Alchemist when I pick up the class.
The only piece of gear I've actually gotten frustrated trying to obtain is the recipe for the Requiem weapon (strongest weapon in the game, final item, end-game.) But I have obtained over 30 recipes for it! My problem lies in that I have yet to find the EXACT recipe specification I am looking for.
All in all, yes, Apocalypse, the game is very enjoyable and wonderful to play, otherwise I would not have nearly 200 hours on it at the moment! There are a few glitches in the game, mainly pertaining to Lord Zemn, the final boss (most noticeable/bothersome on Epic difficulty,) but even these are easy to avoid!
And drop rates are where they are due to the effectiveness of gearing properly, gives you something to strive for and work towards. Besides, the longer you spend grinding to get a specific recipe, the more money you get!
