Ricard's Rapier?
Is there a point to using Ricard's if I'm just going to make it an elemental? Or should I grab the normal Rapier which has 110 crit and higher elemental damage. Does the normal Rapier suffer in PvP from being the shortest reaching piercing sword?

Ricards Rapier is meant to be turned +15 normal and enchanted with crystal magic weapon, sunlight blade or darkmoon blade. The reason why Ricard's rapier overall has weaker damage is because of the heavy attacks, which overall do an absurd amount of damage if they all hit. Rapiers have always had the advantage when it came to running attacks due to the fact that they hit twice, with the user almost always ending up in the opponent's shield side or behind him for the quick backstab finish.

The normal rapier is also not meant to be forged into an elemental weapon. The estoc however, is an exception.
I think I may just make a fury sword. That has better total AR even with 0 humanity
I guess I should be asking: What weapon should I get to accompany my pyromancies

It can weigh anywhere from 2.0-3.5
Requirements up to 25 dex
Great scythe, Golden tracer, Dark tracer, Ricard's rapier or Estoc. Try them out. Each weapon maxed out (normal) are pretty good.
Gold Tracer actually looks like it could work, although it's damage is atrocious at minimum dex. I guess the bleed kind of makes up for it
Dex-based weapons aren't supposed to deal big damage per hit anyway. They're supposed to deal large damage through the various moveset combinations and parry/backstab. An accumulation if you will. After all, if dex weapons did as much damage as STR weapons, everyone would be abusing the crap out of them. Much like how everyone's abusing dark sorceries.
Yep. I'll try it out once I get to Oolacile. About to take on O&S. I'm also going to craft a furysword while I'm still in Anor Londo
Quelaag's is really good if you're confident that you can keep your 10 humanity intact. I guess it really just depends on one's skill as a player.

Good luck with Ornstein and Smough.

Good luck with Ornstein and Smough.

In PvP I'll be mostly invading, so I'll definitely have a lot of humanity.

And thanks
