HD Texture Pack not working.
I downloaded the mod . Enabled texture overide in DSFIX.ini and put the .dds textures in the folder. Is it that .dds is no longer supported and mods must come in .png or something else is going on ?

No one cares to make hd textures since 2012 ? I can't find any new mods that will work only for the HUD.

It's certainly still supported. So, you must be doing something wrong.

im buffled. The DSFIX is configured perfectly , the hud mods are working great , im getting 60 fps. Texture overide is definitely on because the pngs wouldnt work either.

# Texture Override Options
###############################################################################

# enables texture dumping
# you *only* need this if you want to create your own override textures
# textures will be dumped to "dsfix\tex_override\[hash].tga"
enableTextureDumping 0

# enables texture override
# textures in "dsfix\tex_override\[hash].png" will replace the corresponding originals
# will cause a small slowdown during texture loading!
enableTextureOverride 1

2 Lines from the end im thinking the path should be "dsfix\tex_override\[hash].DDS"
But then again it doesn't make much sense because it has a # at the begining of the line so does it count ?

That is only a comment telling you the correct folder where the textures need to be copied, it's not an active option that you can use to change the path... don't remove the #, the problem is elsewhere
