Absolutely cozy game experience, you often see youtube videos with anime girls chilling somewhere and listen to lofi playlists.
In this game you can choose yourself, where, what and who you want to be, and what to listen to, and all of that with a cute little pet by your side you choose! You can level up and get more pets, set timers, get tasks done.
Great game for lofi lovers.

If the developers read this: Please add cat purring sound to the sounds menu. This one I am really missing.

THIS IS NOT A GAME! you can decorate a room and dress up a character you create, but its not a game. theres nothing more to it "gameplay" wise than that. dont get me wrong, its great. i enjoy it a lot. but it is a utility device. similar to other free to play lofi applications on steam. its a task manager essentially. you create an avatar, you can dress them up, decorate your space. after that, you just use this app as a task manager. it is used to help keep you on track, used while studying, take notes, keep organized, etc. its great!!

Pros:
-Timer for whatever you want. working, breaks, studying etc. you can set the time limit and if you want timed breaks inbetween.
-you can track things in game with a little tracker.
-lofi music! most of it is good..
-YOU CAN PLAY YOUTUBE VIDEOS THROUGH THIS APPLICATION!!! i can pop on a youtube playlist or even a podcast in this application, which is great!!
- the room decoration and avatar dress up portion of this application is neat! it makes the little room you look at feel more like something made especially for YOU!
- the artstyle is sooo cute and so CLEAN! lots of games recently have kinda ugly art, this application has good art. animations are smooth too :3

Cons:
- you can dress up your character, but you cant preview the clothing items?? so you have to purchase clothing you want to wear. i wasted a bit of in app coins bc the clothing pieces were ugly lol
- the rain animation has these weird worm looking things on the window and it looks gross and strange LOL. im just picky but i wish they removed that.
- wish there were a few more noises we could use! please add black noise! its different than white, pink, and brown noise. black noise is a deep, almost not there sound. but its sooo good. maybe add cat purring? id even like cafe noises. like having people chatter and some dishes clanking etc. i just feel the app needs some more sounds :) its fun to find cool combos.
-let us save sound combinations! ive been messing around with combinations of noises and i like a lot but i wish we could save the combos to use at a later time and be able to switch back and forth

This game has legitimately helped me start taking better care of myself. I'm pleasantly surprised.

It's... fine. If you can get it half-off, then it's a good deal. The content is very light. You'll find all the little pets super quick, get bored with the clothes/decor super quick. But it's the lofi beats to relax/study to that you're interest in right?

Well you've got 4 playlists, each with a few hours of music. Like the other content, you'll burn through this quick. So it's nice that they offer an in-game YouTube browser (no you can't use it to flip to Spotify, I've tried) so you have access to unlimited lofi beats to relax/study to. Nice, right?

Well because it's an in-app (I can't really call this a game) browser, your ad-blocker isn't there. So you've now got access to loads of lofi beats to relax/study to, but you're gonna get hit with a disrupting ads. So that sucks.

Ultimately I got this for the white-noise options, and I hope they add more. I prefer focusing to <rain sounds> or <fireplace> than music anyway, and they've got a nice mixer so you can create the sound scene you want. So that's a plus.

If by some wild chance the developers actually read these reviews, there are some things that would really elevate the app for me:

• Open up the browser. Let us explore beyond YouTube. Let us go wherever we want. Right now the feature just sort of feels like an advertising vehicle for your own YouTube channel.
  
• More white-noise sounds! Also you need an 'all sounds off' button.
  
• Random personal question prompt option for journal entries. I think it would be interesting to get a new personal question every day to think about. Right now it's just a glorified notepad, really.
  
• Let us export all our written content. I'm sure some folks would hate to lose what they've built up in the app, and it would let us backup what we've written, too.

So yeah, it's... fine. Wait for a deep sale if you're not fully convinced.

So I've started using this since I've been looking for a good organization tool and I saw my friend had a ton of hours in it and I can say it's decently solid for where it is now. That said, there are some features I personally would LOVE to have that would help me a ton. The only things I have issues with are tasks (game is obviously very new so I hope there will be updates that include these QOL changes). I will write mostly about tasks since this is the main area I'd like to see changes.

PROS:
- tasks give you that juicy serotonin with sound FX and make you want to complete more.
- you can link timers to tasks
- lots of music, sound, ambiance options
- adorable aesthetic
- the spirit feature rewards you by spending more time with the game open, which I appreciate
- habits and journal are a really good feature i see underutilized in other organizational / productive tools and games

CONS (cons are mostly just features I would like to see for my personal use out of an organization/productivity tool, not necessarily bad)
- tasks that are too long get cut off
- no form of sorting for longterm tasks
- no sorting for urgency of tasks, cannot prioritize anything aside from top to bottom
- colour coding would be nice
- no font options/accessibility options afaik
- not a ton of customization (game is new though)
- no calendar / times / dates
- you cannot change the size of the task window or location (afaik) and it feels a bit suffocating at times

GENERAL:
- would be nice to have a going out feature for exercising or parties as well as an NPC to talk to later on in the future (just food for thought)

Anyways, these are just my thoughts and I hope the devs will continue to update this and take these into account because I would really love to have a super dedicated organizational tool with a lot more features because google calendar fuels my clinical depression.

I think it's obvious, but just in case, I'll mention it: more than a game, it's a kind of "compilation of productivity tools" (I'm not proud of that name, but it's the best my brain can come up with).

If, when studying/working, you like to have relaxing background music (although within the NOT-game you can put whatever you want), you like to time your sessions with Pomodoro or something similar, and you like to keep a to-do list, this NOT-game is all of that in one. I no longer have to have 4 tabs open in the browser, so it helps me organize myself a little better.


Visually, it looks nice; it's like creating your own lofi video to have in the background. You can't ask for more.


Narrative: In this wonderful game, you are a young person from a town who is about to become the best spirit trainer in the world. After choosing your starter spirit... wait, I already said this ISN'T a game. What are you doing reading this? Obviously, there's no story beyond small notes that explain the origin of your spirit pets.


Soundtrack: It has a good number of tracks to play in the background, but as I said before, you can put whatever you want in the background by opening YouTube from within the NOT-game.

Sound Effects: You can place a variety of sounds, white noise, rain sounds, and even the sound of grilling meat so you get hungry and stop studying!


Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is the perfect place where your work and tasks become more entertaining, or it's also the place to procrastinate in style!

Score: 9/10 You can't pet your spirit! I don't care if the axolotl has a candle on its head, it deserves pets!!

I bought this game on the launch week and I absolutely love it. I use it every day since the purchase, it helps me to be more productive and to relax. It's a perfect relaxing idle game --the best, in my opinion-- to play in the background while working on something.

About achievements:
~ completion time: around 300+ hours (with future updates it will be less)
~ difficulty: easy -> complete tutorial, pet/ unlock spirits + spend time in the game

Pros:
- you can decorate your room and personalize your character
- huge variety of customization items
- ingame habit tracker and calendar
- to-do list so you won’t forget about the important tasks
- journal where you can write your own thoughts
- timer for working which includes break timer
- amazing and chill soundtracks which were provided by Homework Radio
- web music browser
- you can listen rainy/ windy / bird sounds (etc) depending on your mood
- as you level you unlock more spirits who will accompany you in your journey
- constant updates and bugfixes
- you can hide the UI
- YOU CAN PET THE SPIRITS

Cons:
- N O T H I N G , the game does what it promises, it is perfect as it is, and more future content will be added soon

The game was made by small development team (designer, artist, sound designer) and you can tell that they put their whole hearts into it. They are also quick with fixing bugs. Now stop reading reviews, buy the game and support these amazing guys!!! *inserts corgi gif here*
