Apparently the game crashes instantly in Windows 8 for an unknown reason. Setting the executable of the game to Windows 7 compatibility works for now.

If the game is lagging like crazy for you and you are on Windows, then you might need to disable the controller support and use Joy2Key instead. http://offspringfling.com/ReadmeOnline.html#controller This is a bug with certain hardware configurations unfortunately.

If the game is not starting up, the controller support might also be the issue. Please follow the instructions to disable the controller and try to launch the game again.
