How is this game compared to Alien Shooter?

Alien Shooter is one of the favorites games of all time...

I was really hoping this would be that game, but after trying it out at a friend's, it's not. There's no levelling up; you can upgrade weapons but they're insanely expensive and underwhelming.

The entire game is spent kiting enemies in circles and unloading hundreds of rounds in them. It might be your cup of tea, but I was let down. I could bear the gameplay with character upgrades, but no dice there.

Ive played this game and I would have to say that its a HUGE wast of time and money. For what graphics it shows it uses a rediculus amount of juice, I had to crank all the settings wayyyyy down to get it to run smoothly on my alien ware M14x. On top of that all of the wepons in the game are just so compleatly nerfed. I played till I could afford a flamethrower and you only get 20 max ammo for it, thats about a 5 second burn. There arent any ammo pickups on the game eather. For being a 2013 game this is just bad. I don't even know how it got on steam (bribes ide say). Your wayyy better off with any of the alien shooters. Ive played hundreds of games across all genras and I have to rate this game 3/10 1 being unplayable and 10 being mindblowing.

Does shooting monsters which result in blood squirting and mutants pop out of their bellies not a pretty site to see? Come on gamers, it's $10. Support the game with constructive criticisms and the follow up DLC will be better.

love the game, I just wish there was an update or a way to report bugs to help the update process. The game is a little stale in the beginning but when you upgrade your weapons it turns into an all out kill fest
