Still, cool to see.
Might even be that post void was the start of a new genre? Speed-Shooter, maybe Sprint-Shooter? Or, given how the movement and momentum of Post Void and Mad Jack are actually kinda similar to the old school counter strike and quake game mode... Maybe we can call these "Surf Shooters"?
I think that rolls off the tongue pretty nicely and conveys the sense of "Always maintain momentum and keep moving forward" nicely.
I thought maybe it was a sequel.
