In the Demo classes are identical to the first game. Rationale being that those can be adjusted at the last stage of the development (while things like main storyline needs to be finished early to enter QA and localization). But I do realize classes rebalance/adjustments are highly requested thing, so I have those on the tasks list.
So, after playing the demo, what items you find missing (like resistance types, etc)? Maybe some specific items should be GUARANTEED to be available in the starting shops?
Also, how you feel about the shop prices (balance)?
I could imagine an illusionist with phantom strikes and the spell which creates the eye, along with a few other spells for mapping in completely magically dark areas or some such.
It would be nice if the short rest restored some MP too, even if it's not as much as the HP regain, I feel it would possibly be beneficial to allow. Idk.
Certain character classes could automatically give the party a bonus to certain things as long as a long rest was taken with them in the party, so perhaps a bard could give +1 to hit per level or something. A dwarf battlesmith could give a bonus to armour, and other classes could give other bonuses. This would so allow different play-throughs to have a greater impact with different heroes.
I look forwards to more character races, idk if you have more planned, but a race which was either hostile or neutral int eh first game could be added perhaps. The fabled Dwarfen female could be perhaps found during the play through and then allowable as a character race for that play through if the party wanted to switch things up.
It's looking quite promising at the moment. I hope to see a few more positive changes in the final release to change it so it isn't just a repeat of the first game with a slightly different map and story.
