How to make NPCs follow a path.
How do I make NPCs follow a path? I've been trying to figure it out but it won't work.
Can anyone help?

Give the npc a name, make a path_track, give it a name, then just hold shift and drag it somewhere, it will make a line inbetween the two entity's, if it hasn't, do it manually. Then just open the npc's properties and in the "path" or "track" section, put the name of the first path_track, it will then follow the sequence, you can also make it loop, just take a good look at the entity's properties.

I have a little problem, the door in my level blocks the NPCs, even when it's opened. How can I fix this?
after 10 years.
Delete the door.

Brother has problem - a door blocks NPC. If he deletes the door, it wont block NPC.
But I am not sure if he steel has that map, as 10 years is 3650 days.

Just make a trigger near to door.In other case it's just should be place in that place, where citizen can open the door by triggering "trigger_once" or "trigger_multiple".So, you need make brush and set tool texture "trigger".Next you need to make filter (to make certain npcs open the door).You can make it by placing point entity, for example, i advising you to place "filter_activator_class" or "filter_activator_name".

it is a lot easier just to delete the door
