Bug at the Marsh / Swamp? [spoilers?]

Here's the situation: I cannot access downstairs puzzles, because I cannot move the L-shaped bridge nor can I move the bridge you come across when you enter the area and do the tutorial. Both of the doors leading to the area are also closed. I'm thinking this might be a bug, or maybe I just screwed up something.

If you have been there before (and used the bridge), then either:
1. You used the boat to leave from there (just use the boat again, and land at that area, to regain access)
2. You left through the back exit (not shown in your images).

If you have never been there before, then it is indeed a strange situation, as neither of the shown bridges should be in that state initially.

Indeed I have been tere before and I do get away from there. The problem is, that I can't finish the area with the bridges like this. I have used the yellow bridge when I entered the area (that's the reason it's like that) and also the L-shaped bridge once when I was doing the above ground puzzles in the area. I assume, that there are multiple correct answers for the L-bridge's movement, I just picked the wrong one and hopped off the platform while it was still moving. The result is, that the bridge is in that position and I cannot access the panel from anywhere. Some of the area's underground panels are in the area limited by the two now-unaccessable bridges. I would hate to load my previous game, since I had been playing about ten hours straight when the bug occurred. I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to regain access to the bridges.

Did you get off the rotating one while it was moving and get it trapped in an unreachable position?? Uh-oh...

You can fix the other one by uing the boat then walking back.

Well, if you jumped off while it was moving, you might be in trouble - I'd have to check it some more. See if you can still get to the other side of that bridge by using the boat, or the back entrance (since you were able to leave, and you did not leave through the first moving bridge, you must have taken either the back exit or the boat).
The boat can be called to appear from several places on the map (among others: the pier near the bay/monastery/first area, and from the workshop where you can repair boats, as well as from the sawmill).

I've got it, you should be able to use this panel if you get a bit closer.

mpeijzel - the L-shaped bridge isn't accessible by boat, since it's more inlands from the dock. And the yellow seaside bridge is ok, so I can use the back of the mountain to exit the area. Exiting the area isn't the problem, accessing the middle part of it is. To my knowledge the boat only goes in the specific places on the map, and the middle part of the swamp area isn't one of them.

Cccactus - Yes, I can access that panel, but the combination to bring the bridge back to it's original position is virtually impossible to draw from that distance.

But it is possible and is likely the only way.

Good news: if you are able to get to both the blue and the black exits, with the 'bridge' piece stuck on red and purple, then you'll only miss one optional puzzle (in purple area).

Assuming that you can access the area itself (either through back entrance or through boat), you should be able to use pathways to walk around that area - the L-shaped bridge is only optional - I never needed it, and only used it once to check the other two pathways.

Did you try taking the path from the boat docking place, walking along the shore (towards the houses in the trees), along the same path that you took earlier?

Note: in order to get the L-shaped bridge powered, you need to have unlocked a certain door, then walked through a path that feels like it is "outside" the area, near the waterfront, towards the "boat docking" area there. So you should have access to the yellow bridge by first using the boat, and then walking that road (stick to the waterfront, walk counterclockwise).

I just saw this comment: if you can exit the area, and enter the area through that yellow bridge, then you are standing next to the boat dock. From there (don't take the boat), you should be able to walk along the shore (counterclockwise, towards the houses in the trees), and reach the first yellow bridge that way.

He didn't unlock the shortcut door. The only way into the middle section is through that door or either the bridges. The only solution is to use the bridge panel from a distance as in my screenshot.
