Officially announcing Dark Messiah: Community Edition

Hello! After a lot of back and forth with Ubisoft and Valve, I am finally able to proudly announce I am developing a Community Edition of Dark Messiah with their support!

This will be on a newer version of the Source engine (Source 1 still, to keep the feel) and will be out on Steam, probably with Workshop support. We're going to start working with the Singleplayer and also upgrade the Multiplayer in the same release. Finally we'll be integrating all our mods plus a few new ones and classics you'll recognize.

Yes, you need to own a copy of the original game to be able to play CE. And presumably you will have to install it as well.

Good news and update on this: we worked out something with Ubisoft that will not need the original installed, but you WILL need to own it at least

Most likely, but not for the original game.

Bought the game again on Steam for this. Really hope it launches with controller support.
