Discuss! For me its gotta be the RPG, the long range and ability to penetrate basically anything make it one of the best weapons in the game.

Yea, it's projectile is pretty fast... but I say, anything with very high mass projectiles is dangerous!
Browncoat flamer, all the other browncoat weapons are OKAY, but the flamer is better since it's easy enough to close the distance with a browncoat heavy. Needs a range reduction, maybe slightly above digger range like the old coalition flamer.

But the Coa Flamer was useless next to a shotty for that very reason.
The browncoat cannon that shoots incinidary shells.
If the flamer had only slightly more range than the digger, then you would just use the digger.
I would say the Techion Nanorifle is pretty OP i mean you only need to shot near the head and the nanoswarm will turn the poor guy into a big pile of flesh but i agree with the flamer but only on short range (i use more sniper then close combat fighter) but also the imperatus banchee is pretty rough i mean this sniper has the best range so far in the game and one headshot is fatal for everything it hits i think i only saw a browncoat heavy survive a headshot and this only to the fact that he got his helmet
The M60, without a doubt. Since it has very powerful rounds at a decent rate of fire, a huge clip, and no "charge-up".
Gotta agree about sniper rifles, but have you seen coalition heavy sniper? I think its even more powerful, it is however very heavy so isn't really practical to use in most situations.
Try picking up a turret minigun if it breaks off, which is uncommon. It's like a minigun, but with an extended clip. If you use a heavy trooper, nothing can stop you once the bullets start flying out.

Yes, you see, turret weapons are weapons just like other types of... weapons, and if you someway manage to knock off the rifle or kill the turret/mecha without destroying the weapon, you can, ussually, grab it!

From what I seen, a flamethrower is an amazingly powerful tool. Try putting a few pillboxes with flamethrower troopers in them and have them face each other, guarding the entrance to your base. If anyone tries to get in, they'll be deep fried faster than you can say McDonalds

I'd recommend, then, making something like this:

okay,so [] are concrete, ... is air, /\ is a trooper with a flamer. The area beneath him is a coridor enemies can walk in. It may be kinda tricky setting up it well enough for your trooper to kill with ease and be covered well, but if you make it properly it's a very efficient and safe ambush spot!
Which side are the enemies coming from? if from the right, enemies could easily just fire a rocket upwards into an area near the soldier, but where the soldier can't see them.
That's the thing. It wouldn't work on humans at all, but AI ussually doesn't calculate the splash damage of the weapon and shoot only dirrectly.
