Field Of View?

Just downloaded, I'm about to play. I generally like to run a higher Field Of View in First person games but I can't find a slider or setting anywhere in the options. Black Ops II had an FOV setting, even if it was capped at 90 degrees. Is there a field of view option and if so, how do I change it? I'm willing to go into the .INIs and modify configuration settings from there as well, as long as it doesn't break multiplayer or anything. Also, does anybody know what the default Field Of View is? If it's 90 - like the maximum for Black Ops 2, then I will be fine. This is just something that is really grinding my gears.

I am not sure what the POV for this game is on default, but it is below 90. There is an FOV changer if you google it.

Heres a tip, if Treyarch is the developer of a COD game it will have FOV sliders, if its IW then it will be straight console port with more bugs.

When is his usual developement time? I don't mind the FOV too much in SP, but it's going to really burn my chicken in multiplayer.

There already was a fix for the FOV but Activision/IW threatend the site with lawsuits so it was taken down.

The files itself should be safe but if you use it you could get VAC banned.

Just so you know, Modern Warfare 3 has had the same FoV changer since launch and there have been no reported bans for it. This is the same company, and it is very likely you will be fine. Just know that its all your own risk.

not from the looks of it.... will be playing it at 65 like the rest of us :( at least thay should change it to 90/95 .
